I am based in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and work all over NYC as well as the Hudson Valley. I am happy to travel to other areas as well, for an additional travel fee.

I make delicious, colorful cakes in traditional and modern flavor combinations, decorated with handcrafted sugar flowers. I use only the highest-quality ingredients and always emphasize both design and taste. I offer many signature flavors and am happy to customize as well.

My cakes are always frosted with buttercream. I use fondant and gumpaste for decorations, but not for the cakes themselves. I love the look and taste of real frosting!

Pricing reflects the handcrafted, high-quality nature of my cakes. Small tiered cakes begin at $500; large tiered cakes begin at $1000.

Sugar flowers (also known as gumpaste flowers) are made of gumpaste — a flexible dough made from sugar and egg whites that can be rolled very thin and dries very hard. Flowers are sculpted and assembled petal-by-petal and then painted with edible petal dust to mimic the texture and shading of real-life flowers — or to create artistic and even fantastical effects!

Pastry chefs and sugar artists have been making these flowers to decorate cakes and desserts for centuries. Producing them is a specialized, highly time-consuming craft and their presence turns a cake into a one-of-a-kind work of art, a kind of edible sculpture.

Fresh flowers are wonderful, and they provide endless inspiration! But they can cause problems on wedding cakes: they droop and wilt, and many of them are not food-safe. My philosophy is that flowers should be flowers, and cake should be cake; that fresh flowers and sugar flowers should speak to each other as complementary elements of wedding design.
